Nothing occurred in the wars of Cambyses, or Antiochus Epiphanes with the Jews, that answers to it; and the expression here used, in the latter days, plainly implies that there should be a succession of many ages between the publication of the prediction and its accomplishment. It is therefore supposed, with much probability, that its fulfilment will be posterior to the conversion of the Jews and their restoration to their own land; and that the Turks, Tarters, or Scythians, from the northern parts of Asia, perhaps uniting with the inhabitants of some more southern regions, will make war upon the Jews and be cut off in a manner predicted here. 38:8; Deuteronomy 31:29; Isaiah 2:2; Daniel 2:28, 10:14; Hosea 3:5; Micah 4:1; 1 Timothy 4:1; 2 Timothy 3:1 that theEzekiel 38:23, 36:23, 39:21; Exodus 14:4; 1 Samuel 17:45-47; 2 Kings 19:19; Psalm 83:17, 83:18; Daniel 3:24-29, 4:32-37, 6:15-27; Micah 7:15-17; Matthew 6:9, 6:10ReciprocalNumbers 20:13 - he was; Judges 3:12 - and the Lord; 1 Kings 11:23 - God; 1 Chronicles 5:4 - Gog; Isaiah 30:8 - the time to come; Jeremiah 30:24 - in; 49:39 - in the; Ezekiel 30:25 - they shall know; 38:17 - whom; 39:7 - will I; 39:27 - and am; Daniel 8:23 - in the; Malachi 1:5 - The Lord; Habakkuk 1:2 - these; 3:1 - a cloud; Revelation 17:17 - until; 20:9 - went Verse 17whomEzekiel 38:10, 38:11, 38:16; Psalm 110:5, 110:6; Isaiah 27:1, 34:1-6, 63:1-6, 66:15, 66:16; Daniel 11:40-45; Joel 3:9-14; Zechariah 12:2-8, 14:1-21 byHeb. the hands ofReciprocalExodus 14:3 - Pharaoh; 2 Kings 14:10 - thine heart; Psalm 139:2 - afar off; Isaiah 25:1 - thy counsels; 44:26 - confirmeth; Jeremiah 26:5 - my; Ezekiel 39:8 - this; Revelation 17:17 - until Verse 18thatEzekiel 36:5, 36:6; Deuteronomy 32:22; Psalm 18:7, 18:8, 89:46; Nahum 1:2; Habakkuk 3:1Reciprocal1 Chronicles 5:4 - Gog; Psalm 110:5 - in the day; Isaiah 59:18 - fury; 63:3 - and trample; Ezekiel 5:13 - spoken; Zechariah 14:12 - the plague wherewith Verse 19in myEzekiel 39:25; Deuteronomy 29:20; Isaiah 42:13; Joel 2:18; Zechariah 1:14 SurelyJoel 3:16; Haggai 2:6, 2:7, 2:21, 2:22; Habakkuk 3:1; Revelation 11:13, 16:18, 16:20ReciprocalPsalm 18:7 - foundations; 110:5 - in the day; Isaiah 2:11 - in that day; 30:30 - the flame; Ezekiel 5:13 - spoken; 36:5 - Surely; 39:6 - I will; Zephaniah 3:8 - for all; Habakkuk 3:1 - fiery Verse 20the fishesJeremiah 4:23-26; Hosea 4:3; Nahum 1:4-6; Zechariah 14:4, 14:5; Revelation 6:12, 6:13 steep placesor, towers, or stairs, Isaiah 30:25; 2 Corinthians 10:4ReciprocalPsalm 18:7 - foundations; 76:8 - didst; Jeremiah 4:24 - mountains; Haggai 2:6 - and I; 2:21 - I will Verse 21I willEzekiel 14:17; Psalm 105:16 everyJudges 7:22; 1 Samuel 14:20; 2 Chronicles 20:23; Haggai 2:22ReciprocalDeuteronomy 20:17 - thou shalt; 32:42 - make mine; 2 Chronicles 20:22 - to sing and to; Psalm 110:6 - fill; Isaiah 19:2 - I will; 66:16 - General; Jeremiah 25:29 - I begin; Ezekiel 39:4 - fall; Zechariah 14:13 - a great; Mark 13:12 - General; Revelation 16:21 - there fell Verse 22I will pleadIsaiah 66:16; Jeremiah 25:31; Zechariah 14:12-15 with pestilenceEzekiel 5:17 an overflowing13:11; Genesis 19:24; Exodus 9:22-25; Joshua 10:11; Psalm 11:6, 18:12-14, 77:16-18; Isaiah 28:17, 29:6, 30:30-33; Matthew 7:27; Revelation 16:21ReciprocalExodus 9:23 - and hail; Deuteronomy 32:42 - make mine; Psalm 110:6 - fill; Isaiah 64:2 - to make; Ezekiel 14:17 - I bring; 14:19 - if I; 17:20 - plead; 20:35 - and there; 28:23 - I will send; 36:23 - sanctify; Daniel 11:45 - he shall come; Joel 3:2 - will plead; Revelation 8:7 - hail; 11:19 - and great; 19:20 - burning; 20:9 - and fire Verse 23magnifyEzekiel 36:23 and I38:16, 37:28, 39:7, 39:13, 39:27; Psalm 9:16; Revelation 15:3, 15:4, 19:1-6ReciprocalExodus 7:17 - thou shalt; Psalm 46:10 - I will be; 59:13 - and let; 83:18 - That men; Isaiah 5:16 - the Lord; 25:3 - General; 45:6 - General; 64:2 - to make; Ezekiel 6:7 - and ye; 20:41 - and I will; 20:42 - ye shall; 25:5 - and ye; 28:22 - shall be; 28:25 - be sanctified; 30:25 - they shall know; 37:6 - ye shall; 39:21 - I will set; Daniel 11:45 - he shall come; Hosea 2:20 - and; 9:7 - Israel; Micah 7:16 - nations; Malachi 1:5 - The Lord; 2:4 - ye; Matthew 6:9 - Hallowed
